Lifeboat Exercise

Being part of a RNLI rescue exercise with the Penlee and Lizard boats was a great way to experience just how hard it is to rescue a kayaker in swelly conditions, huge respect to these guys.
In 2021 I challenged myself to a charity adventure kayaking all the RNLI SW region and visiting the stations along the way. I’ve fitted the trips as and when I could get time on the water between work and life commitments with favourable weather. It’s taking longer than planned but I’m still going and have visited 18 stations, kayaked 450km and raised £1000!
